At Bredgar CEP the aim for spending Sports premium funding is to ensure that children are able to access Physical Education more fully than the requirements of the National Curriculum. The facilities and resources (including space) is limited at the school and so opportunities to develop children’s experience of sport- the skills and application- is important. The Sports Premium Funding has enabled the school to develop the teaching of P.E., improve the children’s participation in sports events and increased the children’s feelings of well-being and physical awareness and to encourage children to have a life-long love of physical activity.
PE Premium
The Department of Education previously announced this that they will be investing £150 million pounds into Primary PE and Sport.
The school has written an action plan to comply with the Governments criteria for the use of this funding.
