Friends of Bredgar School
The friends of Bredgar School
The Parents and Teachers Association is known as the Friends of Bredgar School, FoBS, and anyone who has a connection to the school is automatically a member of FoBS. Various activities are organised each year – educational, social and fund raising. An A.G.M. is held each autumn and volunteers, to serve on the Committee and help at events, are always welcome.
FoBS works for the benefit of all the children of Bredgar School and consequently, every child’s experience is enriched because of the support offered through FoBS, both financially and socially. Over the last few years, FoBS have funded the cost of the coaches to the pantomime, contributed toward school trips and most recently have raised enough money to buy a new minibus which allows the children to participate in lots of activities outside the village of Bredgar.
